100% suki! v5.0 - A animeblog turns English

100% suki! has always been a great animeblog for our German visitors, however, english visitors were forced to either use a rather bad than good translator or didn’t even visit our blog just once. Turning our blog into a english based one will greatly open ourselves to the whole world. You can read what has or will change after the small jump.

One of our great problem certainly was the time between articles being posted on 100% suki!. Due to my work, I wasn’t able to keep 100% suki! up to date as I originally wished it to be. This will change with v5.0. v5.0 is team based and currently holds four members who’ll try to keep 100% suki! up to date as much as possible.

100% suki! v5.0 will be running twice on this server, yes, TWICE. Why you ask? Because we don’t want to lose our dear german visitors, Battosai will try to translate as much content as possible to the german site. Upon visiting our domain, the visitor will get the chance to visit our main english blog our side project, the german blog.

There’s going to be much more in the feature, so be sure to pay 100% suki! a visit once a day.

Eine gute Wahl und die Sache für die nicht so englisch begabten eine deutsche Version bereitzuhalten ist eine noch viel bessere Wahl.
Ich persönlich treib mich ja lieber auf Englischen Blogs rum da die meisten Deutschen..ähmm..naja…

Komischerweise scheinen viele der Deutschen Blogbesucher die krätze zu kriegen sobald sie nur ein wörtchen englisch lesen.

Jedenfalls gut gemacht!Konstante Updates sind übrigens auch ne feine Sache ^^

Habe mir auch schon überlegt, meine Artikel oder das, was davon noch übrig ist, auf engrish zu schreiben. Da mein engrisher Wortschatz jedoch recht begrenzt ist (vor allem vom Sprachwitz her) und es schon mehr als genug englische Animeblogs gibt, die keiner liest, lasse ich es eher bleiben. Mehr Liebe für der die das Deutsch!

I personally don’t like the idea of you guys to turn into an english anime blog. It’s not like I don’t read english blogs myself, I just think that suki is one of the - let’s say - better established anime blogs in the net, and it was good that it was in german.

So now it feels like the german anime blogosphere has lost a good participant.

To be honest, I didn’t have any great faith in the german animeblog scene to begin with. Most of them either usually go to Meidocafe or camp in some forums trollin’ each other.

It’s true that we had nearly over 350 unique visits per day , but most of them were international visitors. Thus we’ve turned English, and it’s not like our german site is dead yet. Battosai will try to translate as much as possible, however, if he’s able to keep up with our pace is another question.

Right now I’m working on a German translation from Suki but it will take a while (probably 1-2 weeks =/).

I read englisch blogs, thats right. But look there are so many blogs you can read in englisch and I read them sometimes but only to get new infos about anime and manga. Suki isn’t not the blog who post 2 or 3 interesting and very new news a day. And Im not realy interest in figure reviews.

I read german blogs to have fun not to find news. Why yout think I dont kill 100% suki! from my feed?
